He set off in early 2025, skiing across northern Sweden and Norway, before cycling 7,000km through Europe to the Mediterranean. After crossing to Morocco, he trekked and rode across the desert to the Atlantic, arriving in early October.

Loic Cappellin is already over 8,100km into a multi-discipline expedition, traveling solely by human and wind power from North Cape in Norway to the Amazon.
The Swiss adventurer began his journey in late January by skiing 1,100km south to Hemavan in northern Sweden. There, he hopped on his bike and cycled 7,000km across Europe, eventually reaching Morocco.

Parti du Cap Nord le 27 janvier, Loïc Cappellin a pour but de rejoindre l’Amazonie à la force du corps et du mental. Après 1000km dans le grand nord et 7000km à vélo, il entamera ce vendredi un voyage de 1300km dans le désert.

Loïc Explore : Un défi audacieux soutenu par Berney Associés.
Le 15 janvier 2025, marque le début d’un défi exceptionnel pour Loïc Explore, un aventurier originaire de Martigny.
Ce projet, « Expédition Mètis », couvrira une distance impressionnante de 15 000 kilomètres et s’étendra sur 545 jours. Un périple qui l’amènera à travers des environnements extrêmes, allant du Grand Nord aux forêts tropicales de l’Amazonie.

Après une carrière dans le street-hockey (il fut notamment élu meilleur gardien des Championnats du monde U20) Loïc Cappellin a changé de cap en 2018 pour devenir aventurier et se fixer des défis sportifs qui repoussent les limites, tels que des marches de centaines de kilomètres en solitairer sans assistance… On fait le tour du monde en sa compagnie!
